Crossfire Police Department Information

This section is dedicated to information regarding one of the finest clans on the Freelancer Crossfire server. There are many clans to choose from on the Crossfire server and each clan serves its purpose. You can be a police officer (i.e. CFPD), a mercenary, a smuggler, a pirate, or just a freelancer trying to make his/her way in space.

In the Clan Links section on the right, you will see links to each clan. If you are undecided about becoming a part of one of the finest clans on the Crossfire server, take a look at what other clans have to offer.

In the “About” section above, you will find who our clan leadership are. All clan members can be reached via our forum (link to forum above). Please feel free to post comments in the “Question of the Day” section. This section is intended to ask questions and post various answers. As you play Crossfire, you will quickly find that there are multiple ways to do all kinds of things from trading to smuggling to fighting.

The CFPD clan has a chat feature for all your live conversations. CFPD uses it for many purposes such as clan meetings but this feature is open to any registered visitors.

*This information is still being compiled and more information will be added over time. This information was last updated on: 18 January 2010

Question of the day

This section is dedicated to asking questions and having any registered user post various answers. We will work very hard to ensure the RIGHT answer is posted.

*This section is a work in-progress. More changes will be made to ensure it has the right look to it.

Crossfire License Information

There are four basic license types: police, mercenary, smuggler, and pirate. All clan members must tag all of their characters with a license based on the type of clan they are. A freelancer can choose from any one of these types of licenses but, be forewarned; each license has its purpose and can either provide protection or bring undo attention.

Police License:
The police license identifies your character as the “law enforcement” for all Sirius/Altair systems. The symbol that appears above your ship is a green diamond shaped object.

Mercenary License:
The mercenary license identifies your character as the “hired gun” for all Sirius/Altair systems. The symbol that appears above your ship is a yellow diamond shaped object.

Smuggler License:
The smuggler license identifies your character as the “hired transport” for all Sirius/Altair systems.

Pirate License:
The pirate license identifies your character as the “I’m up to no good” for all Sirius/Altair systems. The symbol that appears above your ship is a red diamond shaped object.
